AlphaTec 53-001 is a chemical protective work glove designed for tasks involving direct contact with aggressive chemicals. The glove is constructed using an innovative multilayer system combining nitrile, neoprene and nitrile layers, where each layer contributes a specific barrier function. This structure provides documented protection against a wide range of chemicals, including acids, bases, hydrocarbons and organic solvents.

The glove has been tested in accordance with EN ISO 374:2016 and is classified as Type A. This means it has achieved a breakthrough time of more than 30 minutes for 13 out of 18 specified chemicals. It incorporates MICROCHEM™ chemical barrier technology, where multiple polymers are combined in patented multilayer structures to deliver consistent protection in demanding working environments.
